Chiropractic
Chiropractors specialise in the diagnosis and treatment
of spine related disorders such as those caused by poorly
functioning spinal joints and misaligned vertebrae. The
effects of a misaligned vertebrae or ‘subluxation’ are
spinal stiffness and nerve system pressure.
Chiropractic, in some form, extends back almost as far
as human history. Modern chiropractic was founded in
1895 by David Daniel Palmer when he helped janitor Harvey
Lillard with his 17 year history of deafness by adjusting
his spine.
Chiropractic is best used for:
- Spinal pain. Such as neck, mid back and low back pain;
-
Subluxation of spinal joints;
- Headaches;
- Sciatica and referred pain syndromes;
- Jaw and TMJ
dysfunction;
- Childhood scoliosis;
- Wellness maintenance.
